I noticed a post about making the passanger side window operate by one touch as well. I asked my dealer to do this before I picked the car up.
The passanger window is now one touch when going down but still only MANUAL when closing...is this correct? or have the monkeys made a mistake??
Other than this car is fantastic..even have the sony working correctly!!!

On my CC (pre multiplex) it is auto down but manual back up and I think thats how they all are.
I do remember an odd few CCs which had auto up and down though!?

All new cars have muliplex, it started about Oct 2001. Its something to do with the cars wiring.

I expected to be flamed any minute from all the bods with the proper technical explaination. Cue Alex ls  Joking mate!

The 206 has a multiplexed electrical system...this basically means that instead of there being lot's of seperate wires going around the car for controlling functions there is just 1 bus cable and this encodes all the signals and sends them along the bus cable which are then decoded at the necessary place!!! It's used to save money!!!

Spoken to my dealer again..perrys in MK. Service guy going to call me about the windows!!! I'll let you all know.

Normally the windows are working like this:
Left window goes automatically up/down when pull/press the button fully and you can raise/low the window a little with a light pull/press.
Right window goes manually up/ automatically down and you can raise/low the window a little with a light pull/press as well.
But when you make the Right window goes up automatically, I've heard it doesn't work the light pull/press to raise and low a little the window. It just goes only up or down.
Please correct me if I am wrong

My Australian my02 2 litre is as described in the first post, auto up/down on drivers side when shortly pushed hard up or down but the passengers side one is only auto down.

Also I think the behaviour is different depeinding on the ignition position (ie how many cliks you've turned the key ronud, if that makes sense!)

Yeah your right Matt, on mine if you only have it on the first postion the automatic up or down doesn't work on any of the windows
