I live in SouthWest London and the first 900 miles of driving in my car has been done at an average of 13mph!

Only actually reached 5th once. Ever!

I really should buy one of those dodgy scooter things !

Do you mean what average speed is displayed on your "on-board computer"?
Mine was 34mph

My average speed is 47mph as my car spends alot of time on multilane dual carriageways and motorways.

Mine is 57KM/H>36M p/h
Just came home and drove 130 for 20 minutes long and it still is on 36...
So i guess it's pretty stuck on it...
Oh and i've done about 4800km on it (2983miles)

Just reset the computer trip counter and go for a long drive on the motorway if you're really bothered about it ;)
