PS, I was thinking Lego!
I surprised CB and took him to Legoland Windsor for the day!
His lego addiction is rubbing off on me!

We could always have a competition!
Guess what CB did to have to spend half the night in A&E!

I may not be the brightest button in the box (!!) and I've probably not read all the relevant posts but did we ever discover why CB had to be tended to by nurses in A&E for 3 hours after a visit to legoland???? My guess is he was probably doing something extremely silly - maybe he got stuck in one of those rides that are designed for the under 5's and had to be whisked to hospital wedged into a minute lego car? - I once got my shapely behind stuck at the top of a slide (which I hasten to add was one of the ones designed for toddlers) - my nieces and nephews thought it was hysterical!!
If I'm not here I'm in Symi.....where the sun is always shining.....

Ok...heres what happened...
On Sunday Julias mum and dad had a big family barbeque, which involved drinking obviously. Then mid-afternoon, we had a game of rounders. I am quite competitive and wanted to win. I sprinted and leapt up to catch a ball i had no right to get, luckily caught it, but when i landed went over on my right ankle heavily. Anyway, put some ice on it and carried on drinking. The next day I woke up to find slight bruising but it wasn't too bad. Me and Julia and Pauline and Steve went to London for the day, where i hobbled around like an old cripple. Whilst in covent Garden watching the street performers i became distracted and missed a step, going over on my ankle AGAIN! This time i knew it was a bit more serious and lay flat on my back in the middle of Covent Garden, unable to move for a few moments. Steve put his baseball cap on the ground next to me and proceeded to get a crowd together to witness my street performance. How the crowd of American and French tourists gasped in wonder at my ability to scream several dozen swear words at the top of my voice (I suffer from Tourettes Syndrome). I made a quid anyway!!
After retiring to the pub i took my shoe off and we all felt slightly ill at the sight of my ankle which by now had turned a bit black and was swollen quite a bit. Still we carried on, did Carnaby Street and then got lost trying to find the car (Paulines fault) Eventually we drove out of London (passing the famous Karen Millen shop with the glass you can see through!!!! - see the post "Few CC's in London" in the 'Spotted' section
) and went to a pub in Richmond. By now ankle was really sore, so i was taken to Frimley Park hospital. After x-ray and a 3 and a half hour wai in A+E (which is a seperate story believe me!!!) I discovered I had done my ligaments. Ouch. And now i'm off work till next Thursday. So there you go.
