When its kind of raining a bit ... sometimes my wipers don't go on for about 4 minutes -- then they go absolutely nuts and into 'storm' mode for about 5 seconds!
Is this normal?
Also -- do you find your PERMANENTLY leaving your windscreen wipers in auto-mode? As you know when it is dry they won't operate anyway? Or do you turn them completely off?
My auto-windscreen wipers sometimes go nuts!

I think that's common problem with Peugeot's (have seen wipers going nuts in 406). Mine doing also that kind of thing. Sometimes they do nothing and sometimes when drizzling they go mad) :x
I leave windscreen wipers in auto-mode. Even when you leave them auto-mode and you turn of your motor and then start again they don't actually are auto-mode anymore. You have to switch them again in auto-mode when you start again.

Mine went nuts this morning - light rain and suddenly they went on full blast for 20 secods or so.
I was thinking it may be whatever you wash the windscreen with -sometimes the wipres don't clear the rain totally if the screen is greasy. Just a thouht though as I don't know how the sensor senses rain!

When I was first getting used to having blinkers on the left and washers on the right, I used to accidentally put the wipers on, and then in trying to quickly turn them off and do the correct thing accidentally hit the washer. Only happened a couple of times with the roof down, but the funniest was when I wet the saleswoman on my test drive!
MMMMMmmmmm Diablo!!!!!! :D :D

I don't have any problems with my wipers at all. They are on Auot-Mode.
Works perfect for me! Also i wash my screen with the roof down also! Not a drop inside sofar! But i don't dare to try it on a highway/freeway...
