Ex CC owner dropping by!

Hi all,

Thought I would check the forum out.

We got shot of our troublesome CC last September and some of you may recall we were going to move to Greece!

Well, we are now here on the wonderful island of Kalymnos, (although we are returning to the UK tomorrow to collect our 2 dogs).

Still a few CC owners amongst the 16000 population - 2 Aegean Blue and one Silver. Have not seen the Black one that was about last year.

Have today ordered a new Suzuki Wagon R+ 1.3GL Special edition in 'Superior White'. Should be ready for us when we return on 15th May. Don't laugh! Those of you who are familiar with small Greek islands will know that short and narrow is best!

Will pop in from time to time. If someone e-mails me a website card, I will print it out and 'card' the locals!

We are renting as there is not a property market here like the UK or holiday home/time share market like Spain etc. If you buy, you would then struggle to sell. Besides, the 3.75% you earn on money left in a UK building society account adequately covers the rent with some Euro's left for beer money!

More people should cash in their UK properties and have a break while they can. I'm 38 and no longer working! Don't put off til tomorrow what you can do today!
