i think sara has the 1.6 which well help consumption

Nope, didn't even consider 1.6. I just kept it under 80, which at times was difficult

Thanks for all your replies! :)

Nice to know it's not just me....I looked carefully when filling him up yesterday and the petrol was definitely right to the very top of the tank....but not at the top of the gauge...bah!

I will mention it when he goes in for his first service.....not keen on giving him over for 2 days for the sender unit though so might just have to live with it!!

hmmmm yep i used to have that problem .. but now I've got a worse one .. having to use optimax and only getting 11mpg when both turbos are spining :twisted:

I also have to squeeze at half-level or the petrol pump just keeps 'clicking' for full.

Funny enough same thing used to happen in my old Peugeot 306.

A Peugeot thing -- or has anyone experienced this with other makes?
