Lo,

Having nice weather this week, I decided to leave the roof down the other day at work so it would be ready when I drove home. So far so good!

I drove home, enjoying the evening sunshine, and I parked it outside the house. I pressed the roof close button, and nothing but beeping! So the inevitable panic! I got in the house, read the instructions for opening the roof manually. Had a look at the peugeot video. Then it struck me!

I'd managed to open the boot blind when I got my laptop out of the car that morning! DOH!

Has anyone else done this, plus the usual panic?

I felt the same panic the first time i tried to close the roof. It was my first trip with a friend of mine and i had the roof opened for some time when we decided to close it.
PANIC the roof button was not working.
After 10 stresfull minutes i realised that i had to press the button downwards this time and not upwards! RELIEF !!

What I have found is that with the roof down and driving on bumpy roads the cover in the boot can sometimes unlatch itself. It's on the list for peugeot!

Don't worry I did exactly the same thing - Tried to pull my Laptop bag past the Golf clubs and other junk in the boot and must have flipped the blind off - needless to say I spent a few unhappy moments pressing every button in the car trying to get it to work!

Yes I have been a culprit of this!
I even got as far as calling the AA and they were on their way when I worked out the screen had flicked back whilst driving with the roof down!
I was sooo embarrassed but atleast I managed to cancel the call to the AA in time before they arrived!!!
