all models have the same chance of leaking - quite a good chance.
the reaction from the dealer when told about a leak is utter astonishment - ok so i'm lying

The dealers in Norway are aware of the problem.
And more important: The distributor (Peugeot Norway) have a small technical group whith very good knowledge about this. And guess what? At least one of them has bought a 206cc for himself...
And one of them has been touring around Norway fixing the roofs and educating the dealers. Peugeot Norway claims that he has found a solution to this problem (leaks from the roof). And it seems to be correct!

At first it their reaction was "well it is a convertible" but after 6 attempts on my car i think they have sorted it out, heavy rain last night and not a drop. But it took them until the 5th try to realise how serious i was about rejecting the car so they bent over backwards to sort it out.

Mine leaked, the dealer was not surprised and fitted some new seals, that do look significantly different to the old ones,
around the top of the windscreen, A pillars and doors. The work was carried out mid January this year and it hasn't leaked since. The cc was built in September 2001 and has the original spec (non-multiplex wiring etc.)
Hope this helps,
Justin.

ha ha dealer reaction to leaks!? When iwent with a friend of mine to one of the branches in the same chain as we bought ours from, my friend asked the service lad there about leaks etc. and the lad said "....oh no problem there if it should start to leak which is highly unlikely, its just a simple adjustment of the window angles and then you won't have any more problems...." To which i informed my friend of the real likelihood of leaks and the real chance of the "monkeys" (didn't use that term of endearment in front of the poor little service lad) being able to fix them. The service lad didn't seem to like this very much and we debated it in the middle of the showroom
, He was still adamant that there was no problem and that the "..rare few.." were fixed very easily!
Maybe i should try and find that guy's phone number and we can all refer any faults directly to him!!

Rob,
i don't want to name the actual chain on the forum because we have received excellent service from their branch that we bought the car from, it's just that the service dept at the branch in camberley (big clue to anyone in our area) seem to wear rose tinted specs!! or they are very confident!!
but yeah you are right with your comment. (bumfluffy beard didn't help my confidence in him either!)
