Tried putting MP3 CD into your CD player yet?

yes got a pioneer 8400 MP3 player put in and no problems wires were'nt in the wrong way just an adapter needed.

I tried a CD-RW and although it appeared to be counting track times nothing came out of the speakers, not even some awful noise. It would be nice to think a future firmware upgrade to either the car, or the player, would include this facility - I'd even be prepared to pay a reasonable amout for it!Does it work:

Tried again today, nice simple 128kbps MP3 at fixed rate onto CD-RW at 4x burn. It was a 68 minute MP3, the only one on the disc. The player accepted it and the timer started to count but nothing out of the speakers. When it got to 7 minutes on track one, it went back to the beginning.
So I safely assume it doesn't understand MP3 at all
