Apparently he had 10,000 men, did anyone ever question his sexuality?

Anyway I'm back from dirty mid week break in York, just thought I'd let everyone know I have finally got over this embarrasment of getting the top down now. Hardly had it up this last couple of days!

Sun is great! :D Except when it burns :(

Not especially, just having a bit of a laugh with some sarcasm but don't really want to offend anyone. Suppose my sense of humour can be a little on the strange side at times.
Didn't think The Grand Old Duke Of York thing was that bad though.

Not sure as I haven't been around all week. Wondered what I'd missed but not much from the looks of things!

I am not in the habbit of starting rumours but am sure in the case of CB and ******* I could make an exception.

And by the way some may think me old but I wasn't around in 1804

useless fact

the rhyme about the Grand Old Duke of York and his 10,00 men was an exageration.

It was origionally about the Duke exercising his house staff by making them walk up and down the hill where his mausoleum
now stands. he used to do this to promote good health amongs his staff by keeping them fit.

The mausoleum can be seen from the M1/A1 just north of the A59 junction.

http://www.multimap.com/map/browse.cgi? ... imap.y=127

on the map it is marked as THE TEMPLE.

Lets just say I know someone who lives in the Castle and I used to spend my weekends there 8) 8) 8)

http://www.allertoncastle.co.uk some weekend pad aint it
