In my understanding , because the car carries out its functions via a processor the functions can be greatly inproved , whereas when you turn your lights off on a 'normal' car they go off but due to a processor being used the software running it can be programmed to incorporate a time delay . Also the same is true with windows etc , the switch for the windows is just a contact which then provides an input to the proceesor which then provides an output to the window motor , threfore eliminating any hardwired 'logic'................. i think
Yep you're right - multiplex could be great fun... the whole engine is also computer controlled - the wire coming off the accelerator pedal just tells the ECU how far down the accelerator is and runs the engine accordingly. This could lead to a simple cruise control - come on Peugeot, tell me how to program it!!!!
