We always welcome newbies on here but I wanted to say a big to all the oldies on here that have been around since the beginning of the forum! (Those that remember the old style forum!)
I won't name names but you know who you are!!!
Why not use this to say hi!
1. I waited 18 months for my CC, and spent most of that time here
2.Got it in Feb 2002 and haven't looked back
3. Turned 40 (now I'm sure I qualify as an oldie in more ways than one)
4. Bought a set of plates in March 2003 "CC 3070" that now take pride of place in my cupboard
5. Am in the midst of an amicable separation with my partner
6. Life looks great
Remember when the forum was full of posts about build dates, and 20 weeks wait, constant hassling of dealers, calling customer relations everyday etc. the newbies today have it too easy, just walk into a show room and the car is waiting for them!
Oh and it was a pleasure meeeting you
Colin

All too true Col.
I remember the massive delay on mine and the total disapointment not to have it when they said I would.
The dealer who told me a story that my original CC was crushed on a transporter and had to get me another one (someone else was told the same story!) but funnily enough when CCs were as common as 4 leaf clovers they managed it!
2 years down the line and I still love it.
Nope
Lyndons is older than mine.
Mine got delayed and then when it was ready to be collected I went on holiday for 2 weeks.
I debated cancelling 2 weeks skiing in Lake Tahoe to be able to get my car but I didn't!
