does the 206cc have the ice alert warning come up on the centre display when its cold like in the current 206 lx and if so does it have to keep flashing the outside temp at you. Its handy but the flashing does my head in ,can it be stopped or do you have to wait for the temp to rise ? anyone ?

we haven't found a way of turning it off so i suppose ours just keeps flashing til the temperature rises!? I'm sure this will be corrected if it is wrong so keep checking.

Yep, the flashing * is a right pain in the butt in low tempretures - wonder if you can make a claim against Peugeot for causing migraine like strobe lighting. (we have it in the Astra where the symbol remains constant, much more restful on the eyes).
Definately annoying, and no way of switching off.
However, as someone mentioned in a previous thread (think it was David?), the gauge stops flashing once the temperature gets down to -4.
