Never bought a new car before.
I've paid for my 206cc. When I get there .. what checks should I do on the car whilst it is still in the garage (so they can't claim it happened after I drove it away)? Obviously Im' going to be checked that nothing is damaged .. any more subtle tests I should be doing? Or paperwork I should be checking out?
For example .. say .. I find a small scratch on the wing .. or a real small dink on the bumper?
Reject the car? demand they fix it? live with it? Ask for some money back?
Also -- what other fundermental checks should I be doing before accepting the thing? I am NOT mechanically minded.
As well as suggesting to me checks .. any advice you can give on what to do IF your suggested check proves bad news for be massively appreciated.
(for example .. crumpled left wing .. would bne a reject car. Radio not tuned in properly .. no action. etc!)
Hey guys (and gals) I really appreciate all this help, any help you can give. Should I expect milage <100? what if it is not? etc.
Picking car up in 4 hours. What should I check for?

Yeah, check for scratches, and make sure the sales guy comes round with you as well - if you find something, make him acknowledge it so he can't blame it on you. Also check leather/upholstery for scratches, rips etc.
If you find anything wrong anywhere, make sure you tell them ASAP.
Oh, finally make sure you get the keys & some petrol!!!

If you find scratch from your car, don't reject it from that.
Demand that they fixed it. Paint and then lacquer it.
I get paint and lacquer with my car, so i can fix it myself, if i found any scratches.
Drive it and enjoy
If you find something suspicious then contact your dealer to fix it.
