Would you recommend the 206cc?

Hi all,

I am currently looking for a new car and am interested in the 206cc. I'd just like to ask you guys if you'd recommend the 206cc and if so why. I heard stories of problems with the roof mechanism in the beginning. Have these problems been resolved? How's the general build quality?

In the beginning there were some problems with the roof yes. Now most of those problems are solved. If there's a leak or another problem with the roof it can usually can be fixed. I think it's a great car! But... i only have mine for about a month now...
Most common problem on the cc are it's squeaking breakes! And The service of the peugeot dealers isn't all you may aspect from a dealer (most of the times)!
But if you want a convertible... This is your car!

I'd have to agree , ive had a few problems but i've never had a car that attracts so much attention , parked at pub today , sitting in beer garden watching people look inside (roof down), and admiring .

Incidently I luv my cc, fortunate enough only to have problems with squeaky breaks

There is NO problem with the breaks

The noise we usually hear when we push the breaks is being created by the ecological NON ASBESTOS break PADS which Peugeot is using just as many other car manufacturers so as to be more friendly with the environment. So this isn't a Peugeot problem individually, but a common problem to other cars you might choose as well.

Well actually i would say that when my cc starts sounding like a bus, then there IS a problem!

Still, that is easily sorted by turning the stereo up, and should discourage no-one
