The French 206cc newsgroups say that there's a new phase 2 version due to commence production in April which will have ESP. Does anyone know if this will get to OZ and when? (I read them with Alta Vista's Babelfish.)

I ordered my 206cc in the first week of February (I wanted a 2003 build date) and rang the dealer today to see how it's going and discovered that the sales manager who did the deal with me left the dealership over a week ago.

ESP means Electronic Stability Program.

It's mostly used in combination with traction control.
ESP corrects the car when it's for example going out of control driving the car. It then adjust the wheel spinning per wheel so the car can get more grip on the road and you have a chance of not getting in a crash.

This is helpfull when the roads are slippery as with snow, mud or heavy rain...
