After taking the CC away for the weekend and driving a distance of only 300 miles i arrived home to find no less than 3 stone chips . 2 on painted grill below lights , one on windscreen . Is it only me that has this problem , why is every stone that is kicked up in the M4 corridor is on a collision course with my car ? why did my girlfriends cat like licking the dead flies off my number plate ?

Racing pumas suffer from this really badly as the wheel arches are so wide. Most people fit ARMOURFEND to the cars. Its like the stuff they put on rally cars so that the paintwork with the sponsorship on isnt damaged.

Hell if it works on rally cars it will work on a CC

Last time i was in the US, a lot of cars had some sort of black cover over the front of there cars. think they were called bonnet gloves. looked stupid but saved them from stone chips. worth considering if you fancy looking like a undercover proto-type test car!!

OMG! NO! I've seen them and they are very "YMCA"...

Hmm thinking about it, a black leather bonnet glove and a gay pink foglight...who could that remind me of...erm...let me think? ;)
