I'm just about to take delivery of a new car, and heard of a product called 'LifeShine' offered by AutoGlym. Unfortunately, my dealership was tied in with DiamondBrite but I eventually persuaded them to apply LifeShine to my new car (after lots of fone calls to them, Auto Glym HQ and local Auto Glym distributors). They are now looking at taking the product on at the dealership, some of the reasons being - 10years guarantee, it's cheaper :), you get a shed load of Auto-Glym products at the end of it (okay, not a shed load - but a bag load) and more.....

Check out http://www.autoglym.co.uk/frame2.html (click drop down box, top right and select 'LifeShine')

I would recommend it (although I have not seen the end result yet !) and with AutoGlyms standing in the car care market I don't think you can go far wrong. It's cost me £199, but I had quotes right up to £275.
and no, I am not on commission :)

4 weeks on and about 5 washes :) this treatment performs excellently. I hose the car down then wash with a (new) sponge (no soap, the manual says just to use fresh water) - hardly any dirt sticks so it's an easy job. Squidgie off the water with a silicone thing and chamois - good as new.

The Audi manual states to only use water, not the AutoGlym booklet.

As for diamondbrite - prices vary - plus, what do you get with DB ? The autoglym service gives you a shed load of products and a longer guarantee.

the Audi dealership I bought my car from have now moved from DiamondBrite to LifeShine (after I persuaded them to do mine) - so that pretty much speaks for itself ? I suppose boh products have their merits, but AutoGlym is a very well known marque and well trusted, plus you get the aftercare products.
