The AC Cobra replica club are having their track day there. There are details on how to get there, hotels etc on the homepage ....

Evlington is actually only £65 with www.easytrack.co.uk although the dealership may be laying on extra's (I wouldn't be suprised if easytrack were organising it for the dealership). I did Castle Combe in my Alfa as a first time track person with easytrack. It was very well organised, instructors were available if you wanted some personal help and eveyone was very good at letting people by when you caught up with them. Well, actually, there was a Diablo, 2 F355's and a 512BBi in my group so I was doing most of the letting by! There were a lot of "normal" cars as well though! With 10 cars max on the track it didn't feel crowded and with people leaving before 5pm to go home you could have as much track time as you wanted.
Anyway, bottom line, if you can get to York, track days are fun. Don't be afraid you won't be quick enough or won't fit in. Some learn what their car will really do (I'm a slow driver!), others how close to the limit they aready are! Cheers
