Well this hot weather seems to have brought em all out.
A bit of sun and they delude themselves into thinking they're in the world rally championship. You can see them in the rear view mirror, they're in their 1.0 Nova special either waiting to overtake on the brow of a hill, or a tight bend, or when your stuck in a long line of traffic.

I tend to fine Clio's trying to race me. Made one look like a prat on Saturday after he was revving like hell on the outside lane, so I gave the accelerator a bit of a sqeeze like I was going to race him then set off at a nice leasurely pace. He'd ran out of steam very quickly so I just sialed past him!

So I'm driving through Swindon in my 911 the other day and all of a sudden I've got this Supra right on my tail. If I had to stop suddenly he be right up the back on me! Anyway, I tried to open a bit of gap for safety by giving it a bit of gas but he didn't take the hint and just closed it back up again. Thought it was safer just to let him by in the end! Cheers

Your answer is this fable (used in the film "The Crying Game" amongst others) .....ohh and can anyone explin to me why saxo boys think their little vts tin cans have can a chance against the sup
A story tells of a scorpion on the bank of the Nile who asked a frog to ferry him to the other side.
"Oh no," the frog said. You would sting me."
"That's ridiculous," the scorpion replied, "because then I would drown."
Convinced, the frog took the scorpion on his back and began to swim the river. In midstream the scorpion plunges his stinger into the frog's neck.
The sinking frog groaned, "Why, why?"
The scorpion gave his final shrug and replied, "It's just in my nature."
Answer: VTS's just can't help themselves, even though they know they can't win!

Are you sure they went all the way with you? Or is your Sup tuned?lol good answer ... ohhh and the list continues ..
bmw m3 .... didn't have chance
s2000 ... go away small boy
boxster s .. didn't like me telling him had a poor mans porsche
days till i lose my licence ????
Looking at the specs it seems that the M3, 911 & Boxter S are equally fast (or even a tiny bit faster...)

And so modest!
Actually I do recall overtaking a 4.0 TVR Chimera in my 2.0 Alfa Selespeed at a track day. The TVR driver was so worried about loosing the backend on corners and his straight line speed wasn't enough to keep him out of my way. You do need a fast driver as well as a fast car!
Jason
PS Of course, when I say overtake it was more a flash of my lights and he let me through - racing at Easytrack track days is not allowed!

It's true the driver is more important than the car yes...
Before my current CC i had e few company cars in which i was a faster than other cars who should have been faster than i was...
I just didn't care if something should happen with the car.
But now i'm more careful (well the first 2 weeks that is).
