Are you using proper cds or ones you have burned yourself?.I had a Kenwood single play in my Tigra and that used to jump terrible on discs i'd made myself but was ok with genuine ones.

mines only jumps too when going over pot holes and it only does it when going over the big ones.

that means when it happens to me the first two words out of my mouth normally start with f and b :D

I might be the only one then.......

I have had numerous problems with my stereo, the disc just stops working and then won't eject. It has been in to the dealers 3 times for this problem and each time they have fixed it, and it's worked for a couple of months and guess what?....yesterday, it stopped working again, and the cd is jammed in, and won't eject!!! I am beginning to wonder if it has something to do with the warm weather???!!!!

but, i have now had enough and today i booked my car in for major install next weekend........ :D

Look at the back of the CD, some have a slightly "frosty" look, these are the ones i've found jump because of the way the factory has pressed them, CDR's are usually better at not jumping believe it or not as long as you buy good quality ones because they are written using laser die and not pressed surfaces

It happens on ones I have burnt myself and with 'proper' ones.
It will just stop working as well, go totally blank then start again 10 minutes later.
Back to the garage me thinks.
