I was looking on the Peugeot website and the only navigation system on there is the VDO Dayton MS5000, does anyone know if this bit of kit is worth the money, anyone got or know where i can get any pics of it installed in a CC and where's the cheapest place to get it from?

Cheers

Hadn't thought of doing it that way, Cheers Andrew, also does anyone know if there is any kind of monthly charge to for the VDO Dayton MS5000 or the PDA method?

I assume that price doesn't include the IPAQ as well! :)

I've got a handspring visor (was about £170) with a GPS companion (about £160) with UK, London A-Z and Spanish road maps in it. It needs a holster for the car really and it's "OK". I can't do any fancy like "find another route avoiding this road or area" but I do find knowing exactly where you are the most import feature (you're never really lost if you know that!). It was doesn't "speak" to you which I think the new IPAQ's do. It's also not colour.

So basically not as good as a fitted unit but yes, the Visor has other uses.

Not much help but I'll probably have it with me at the Bracknell mini meet if anyone wants a play, cheers
