Hi

I noticed that PUGSELLA (AKA Steve Blacker, a sales person from Toomey Peugeot) posted a few times on this forum (and pretty much got his a*se burnt for it for various reasons) advertising the new dealership and offering 15% discount on parts.

I was wondering if anyone had actually used them for serviceing and if they had any good/bad experiences. I don't really care about discounts, I'd much rather the job was well done! Cheers

Jason

I would steer clear of Toomeys in Brentwood. Someone on here had the same opinion and i believe they had similar problems with the basildon branch too.

There are enough Essex owners on here now, someone must be able to name a good dealer. I moved away so i cant be any more help. Sorry

Warning noted! Warwick Wright City is actually the closest but I don't mind travelling if someone has a recommendation. Certainly Warwick Wright seems to have taken a knocking on here but I guess it's different from dealership to dealership. I've read the reports in the dealer section, there seems to be a good one in Surrey, I could give them a try if my local fails to impress.

I guess what you need is a dealership where one of mechanics is a real CC fan and will take the time and get it right (in my dreams).

When I had my Alfa Selespeed (not every story I have to tell mentions my Alfa - honest) I spoke to the mechanic who looks after them. He chatted about all the courses they'd sent him on and seemed to know what he was talking about. The result being that I always had the car serviced by SGT at Taplow, even when I had to go 70 miles and catch the train to work. It's a shame people don't realise that good service means repeat custom. Oh course in my day ........
