Hi all,

Does anyone have any tips on fitting quad lights before I do mine tomorrow, is there any drilling of the chassis required ? .On first inspection it looks like the fixings on quads will not line up with originals .

Ive spent the evening T cutting and polishing the above , thanks Jon H.

They are meant to be direct replacements.

:( No joy with the quads , on the electrical side that is.

The standard lights are connected via 3 plugs whereas quads have 3 plugs but also 1 flying lead off the headlight, after attempting to fit them i found I could get the indicators and, main beam and sidelights to work , but no headlights, probably due to the 'spare' lead off the headlight on both pass and drivers side . Also a spare red to a relay coil on passeger side.

Anyone have any ideas or pictures .? Or does anyone with a conversion know where the yellow lead off the headlight (central in the three lights ) go , they are valeo light from ecosse .

Has anyone fitted a conversion themselves ? or am i going to have to go to pug ?

:( Someone plase help , Pug , local dealer(s) say it will take 4 hours to fit my quads @ roughly £55 per hour  ,I have already fitted them myself quicker than that , unsuccesfully .Does anyone have any pictures or info on the headlight (central light) connection on both the drivers and pass side , if u bought them from ecosse it's a yellow connection . Also on the passenger side there is a red lead thicker than the rest in a black sheath , it goes to a green relay mounted on the back of the lights , but i have nothing on my car to connect it to , all i have is three standard plugs on each side , which are simple to connect to the three on the quads , but what about the spares !

Any info would be appreciated as I think £220 is way over the top.

Does anyone think ecosse would give me any info or diagrams as originally they were from them. The solution is probably so simple and my local dealers didn't know what a quad conversion was until i told them to look in their own brochure

  after the slagging you gave ecosse re: the chrome hoops then i think you would need a brass neck to ask them for help

ok ,thanks anyway. If anyone with a conversion can offer any help it would be welcome . Despite the price , i just dont trust peugeot , after my cars last visit the drivers seat was left in a position that resembled a hospital bed , cover below steering column was loose and footwell and seat were covered with half an inch of pastie crumbs - nice.

Sounds like the mechanic kicked the steering column while having a shag ....
and seat were covered with half an inch of pastie crumbs
.... after a romantic meal for two :)
