Rear windows are gonna die?

My (drivers side) rear window is acting a little strange: when I close it, I can hear (and see) that it's closing very hard, like electric motor doesn't have enough power. And when the car isn't running (key is on accessories position) it only goes half up and stop. All other windows are working normal. It's a new car and from day one it has been like that. Should I go and take my chances with my local dealer or should I wait 'till it dies completely?

get your dealer to look at it striaght away

if the motor does fail altogether it could cause all sorts of problems
