Hi,
I don't know many members here from this fair town, but a warning about the above company anyway.
I had a new head unit, sub, amp and cd changer installed with these guys last wednesday. When I picked up the car, they had managed to disable the left indicators somehow without noticing, so spent 30 minutes figuring out how to fix it, which they eventually did. They also told me that the roof system had been bleeping after they had had it down and back up.
Fair enough, I thought, the thing can get out of sequence - and it was dark by then so I left it till the following morning before doing the manual roof whatsit and finding out I could NOT fix it whatever.
Took it to the dealers - they finally got round to looking at it today and discovered that where Music World had installed the changer, they had managed to screw through a bundle of 20 odd wires which control the roof. Looking at the damage this afternoon there are about 10 exposed wires and 5 that have completely snapped.
Had to pay Peugeot £56 for the privilege of just diagnosing that, which Music World have hinted at reimbursing me for.
After being quoted more than £150 to fix the problem, Music World had a baby and said they would do the repairs. Clearing it (in terms of any future implications) with the Peugeot dealers, I decided I'm taking it to them to fix, because they will not pay the ridiculous charge Peugeot want to levy on the fix. Having seen the problem, I know even I could do the repair... still I want to piss off Music World a bit.
They're actually really nice people at Music World and I feel bad about being such an asshole with them, but jesus, it's my lovely CC they've mucked up! Will let you know when they've supposedly fixed it tomorrow....

Just to follow up on this - the guy at Music World did indeed fix the wires and the roof is now fully functional. He also reimursed the full £56 that Peugeot charged for one hour's diagnostic work.
So all in all, they have been good at resolving this without too much pressure...
So all's well that ends well, I guess!
P.S. Do I win the prize for latest (earliest?!) post ever? - Not counting Australians!
