sorry of this isn't exactly what you wanted
but my brakes have never squeeled since i got the car (16 months , 35,000KM, 3rd set of pads)
i wash the car every 2 days and i always make a point of spraying lots of water into the brakes pads/calipers etc to get all the dust out so it doesn't get on the wheels
maybe the squeeling is due to dirt buildup
all the posts i have read on various sites all say most dealers clean the discs etc and the squeeling goes away but returns after a day or 2

I have had this on my cc, and my previous 206 hatchback. A colleague has it on her 206 hatchback. Whenever it gets really bad i phone Canterbury Motor company, they take the car for a day, it comes back fine, then it starts up again the next week.

Is a 206 thing - the same as the sqeaky seat belt. Kmarei you are the first 206 owner i have ever met who hasnt had the problem, long may your luck continue!

By the way i give the brakes a blast with the jet wash everytime i clean the car too, and if i'm checking the tyres i give the brakes a blast of air. This seems to keep it to a minimum but not solve the problem :)

I had a 206 but never had this problem - it was a fantastic car. Have had my CC 2 months but have squealy brakes. Wasn't sure if hosing them was a good idea but maybe I will give it a go.

ok a small correction
can't believe it slipped my mind
i don't have the regular discs
i changed them for EBC grooved discs about 10,000km ago
i got them form larkspeed.com
but to be honest even when i had the standard discs (for 25,000km) they never squeeled
i live in egypt maybe the heat here helps?
no idea

here are the part numbers for anyone interested
Front Brake Discs (part number TGD311) = 127.00 per pair
Rear Brake Discs (part number GD615) = 69.50 per pair
Front Brake Pads (part number 21234) = 40.00 per set
Rear Brake Pads (part number 2458/2) = 27.00 per set
notice the /2 at the end of that rear part number, the /1 and the /3 are a different thickness and won't work
