Well I'm not sure if my wife and I are having group hallucinations but on the weekend we were driving along with the roof down and the passenger door opened by itself. Well we seemed to go over a bump and it came open. It didn't fling open or anything just dislodged a bit and the warning light came up on the dash. We think it may have happened before as well. Has anyone else experienced this?
Oh yeh and then this morning when I parked my car a switched the ignition off took the key out and the stereo was still going. Surely it shouldn't do that?
The good news is that I don't have any leaks yet. Mind you we haven't had a drop of rain for over 50 days this year (in Adelaide) so I have only been able to test it when washing it. I think it's meant to rain some day soon so I'll let you know!

Yes Kirk, its a well known Peugeot problem with a lock/sensor. I had exactly the same problem 2 days after collecting my car. Going along the motorway the door just "popped open onto the first catch"- very alarming - and as you say, the cursor light flashes to show the door is open.
I took my car back to the dealer, they had to strip down the door and replace the lock.
Not sure about the stereo though, as it should turn itself off automatically when the car is switched off. It can be switched on again when the key is out of the ignition but you normally have to turn it back on manually first yourself.
If your a film buff, sounds like you may have a bit of a "Christine" there.

Get it back to the dealer as soon as you can.

Re your radio, my 406 (multiplex) does this from time to time - the radio stays on afetr ignition off - it can be a swine to turn off, but eventually does. No known cure yet - also - if you turn off the engine and start it up again after a very short time, I can get a Brake Fault, ABS Fault on the info panel - This 406 and the last have both done this and Peugeot cannot trace the reason !.
We'll see what our CC does when we pick it up next week.

also on the multiplex cars if you turn the ignition off and then get oyut and lock the car the radio goes off after a short time
Well sometimes when you unlock the car the radio doesnt come on until you open the door and then it is FULL VOLUME
only found this on the 406 as I still have no CC to drive
