Well didn't get waxed as my mate took it off to have a look at the squeaky brakes.

Apparently I had no lube, so has now been copper greased! (the brakes!!)
err .. what does that mean?? wouldnt grease stop you from braking? :?

Well obviously it wasn't greased on the inside of the pad :rolleyes: . However the metal bit on the outside that pushes the pad needs a bit of grease when it moves, otherwise it will squeal.

However this could only be temporary, and if squeal continues I will just get some more pads (not from Pug!!). Lots of different manufacturers and compounds, so just a case of find one that doesn't 'sing' when you stop! :)

Anyway the grease seems to have stopped the squeal for now!
