Hi all. Have been a fan of the forums for a while now, while I've been considering choosing my next car. Saw my first CC out on the roads today (not many in Oz - see Spotted) and it was the clincher! 206cc is the one.
I will be trying to time the order to coincide with the end of my postgrad exams in November this year. (Will be a great pressie for myself.) Have heard the wait here currently can be up to 6 months anyway (though can be shorter).
Must say this site is very informative and helpful - it's a credit to Lyndon, and everyone else too! But you all know that anyway!
Will be working on that star of mine...
Cheers
Matt

Hi Matt, looking forwra to welcoming you to the club! I've had my CC a bit over three weeks and love it. Warm Melbourne morning this morning and the ride along the South Eastern was blissful. Do you have a dealer? If not, strongly recommend STraightway. Ask for Mark drake and say I sent you.
Cheers

Frosty, I will certainly be talking to Mark Drake after all your recommendations (are you on commision or something? ...just kidding
) The only problem is Mentone is a fair way from my place, so I'll also check out Bayford in Fairfield which is just around the corner and some of the others as well.
Fidodido, 3 months sound much better than 6 months!! Bet you can't wait. Unfortunately I am going to have to wait till November regardless (after exams) or else I will do no study and fail cos I'll be out cruising all the time!!!
You're in Melbourne too aren't you? Did you go to Mark Drake, or elsewhere?
Cheers,
Matt

Have fun!! I'm sure you'll be glued to the driver's seat and driving around with a smile on your dial like this
and like that ad for the four wheel drive where their hair and smile get stuck permanently on their face.
You might even drive so far you'll reach Melbourne and then you can show off your car to us
Pray for sunshine!
