Latest rumour is that Fergie was having a go at Beckham for not putting the effort in - that's why he had asked SGE to only play him for 45 mins in the England game. Beckham then said that other people hadn't put the effort in even when they hadn't had a midweek international. Keane took this to mean Beckham was referring to him and promptly tw***ed him in the head. MUFC then invented the "Fergie kicks boot" story to cover it up.

That's the rumour, anyway

ashley "i'm a cheating to55er" cole went after the match to the united dressing room to go see his england team mates and was stopped by rio ferdinand from goin in but heard ferguson say to beckham u were made to look a right c*** by ashley cole, in which beckham replied wot u mean wot arsene wenger is makin u look like......

then apparently ferguson picked up the boot and threw it at beckham

but this is probably just a lie started by some fan of the arse
