Good to see they've finally got a mas MP3 storage device that sends MP3 ID3 info back to the headunit - the 10 CD changer that supports MP3 only sends back the filename.

Also I assume the "cartridges" are just standard IDE hard drives?

Probably - wrapped up in a container. It's a lot bigger than I assumed it was from the photo though. Check out the dimensions.
