When I was driving home from work tonight I was getting a really loud squeaking noise coming from the back window. Then after a litte while it cleared up.

My best guess was that it was the roll bars on the rear seats squeaking again the back windscreen. Possibly because it was very cool that the window he contracted, and when the car had heated up a little the window expanded again and stopped touching the bars.

Has anyone else experieneced this before?

Highly unlikely - the hoops are nowhere near the windscreen. Certainly not close enough that a millimetre or so expansion/contraction would matter. It could be a number of things but without sitting in the car it would be hard to say exactly what it is.

Hasn't happened since that day. But there is a flapping noise in the front drivers wheel area. Oh and my drivers door won't close properly because the glass keeps meeting the top of the roof rather than sitting under it.

Peugeot dealer here I come!

i had that trouble with my window last week when i picked my car up from ecosse. the door would close but the full window was sticking out.

matt asked if i had had any problems with it which i hadn't so thought it may have been as they had just washed it and it was very cold. that must have been the problem as it was ok later that night.

when the door is open, you try and shut it with your hand on the handle (lifted up) the window can catch on the rubber seals so i try and release the handle and either let the door shut be itself or just push it back by the metal around the handle, like derek says it could also be that the seals are cold and less supple.

hope this makes sense :D :D :D :D
