The battery has a metal bar over it. This bar is held on by two bolts. If you overtighten a bolt it snaps off the bit of plastic that it attaches to. You then have to jam the battery in with 3 bits of wood, hope that the garage don't notice tomorrow and spend the rest of the week scouring scrap yards for a 206 battery holder.
What is really annoying is that the battery container itself is slightly warped - the top doesn't clip on properly. At a push I could get them to replace it under warranty, but I think I'd be very very lucky if they did!
yea they would probably put it down to misuse or something. that bracket cant cost much anyway mate. i wanna know why there is room in the container for a bigger battery.
I've mounted mine at the bottom, but when I get the new box I may mount it siodeways instead 0 makes it easier for adding new ones later if I really needed to!
