ICE Configuration

Hi there! New to the forum. Basically I have about a grand to spend on a sound system. At the moment I have the whole factory-fitted "no bass" configuration. I've got a Sony CDX-C8850R head unit from my old car to use. What speakers, amps, subs etc. would you suggest I spend my money on? I want a sound that's quite loud with bass and mid-range as I like R&B music mainly so I'm not too bothered about shakin' my rear-view mirror too much! Any helpful suggestions would be most welcome....... Also, if anyone has a recommendation for a fitter round Essex way, that'd be good as well.
