Haven't opened my roof in a while... so the other day in a car park I put it down just to check everything was in working order....

Went down fine.... but on putting the roof back up the ariel became trapped in the mechanism and sheared into little strands.

Now I haven't touched the ariel so I can only imagine that wind whilst driving has pushed it back....

This happened to anyone else?

Its a warranty job, right?!

Where do you get one on those then :?: My local dealer only gets regular ones

Seriously though, not sure if it would be taken under warranty. Wonder how it got bent enough to catch the roof? Peugeot will probably say its vandal damage and charge for a new one.

technically it shouldn't be warranty work but tell the zoo that shouldn't happen and they should replace it.

well the ariel wasn't visibly bent... or at least it didn't look any different. I had no reason to suspect there could be anything wrong and it only got caught by the roof by a few millimetres but that was enough to pull it in a and trap it!
