They do but you either get a Nokia one or Motorola. I'm the type of chap that likes to change my phone every 6 months and, although i am a big Nokia fan, if I decide to change to a make other than Nokia, I'm left with a car-kit I can't use. MattB, I didn't realise a 7650 couldn't be used with a car-kit! Are you absolutely sure on that??? Again, the bit behind the handbrake is handy however, like you say, with the music up, no chance of catching calls.Don't Carphone Warehouse install Bluetooth Hand free for £250?
I maybe receive/make 2 calls a week at the most while I'm in the car so can't justify that kind of money on the kit. Why spend all that on a car-kit I'll hardly use when i could put it towards my I.C.E and other lovely extras?
As for driving without due care and attention, how many of us leave our hand on the gear stick for extended periods of time just because it feels a bit more right and manly than having both hands on the wheel? I know I do
Next they will want us to not talk to the passengers they want us to carry (to cut down on congestion) because talking to someone sat next to you or in the back seat is a distraction. Humph, bunch of Arse.
Lyndon, if you're reading this, maybe where the ashtray sits is the ideal place to fit a starter button? Its on show, not difficult to reach and there is plenty of room.

Yes, t'was me. I was just thinking of it today and thought it might be a possibility other than above the drivers vent or just under the steering column to the side of the aircon system.
Also got that new camera. 4 Million Pixels and all that malarky, lovely job. should have some updated pix of the car soon.

It would appear that the 'only' Nokia phones that can use Bluetooth for audio are 3650, 6310, 6310i, 6650, 8910 & 8910i

Well yeah, it can. But only in the same way that a wire is universal and can be used to connect any device with any other device. However, each device needs to support what you're trying to do.universal and could use any device with any other device for any purpose
For example, you can connect two fax machines via a telephone line. Try getting a fax out of a normal telephone though. Or talking to someone over a modem that doesn't support voice.

It is a bit daft, especially when you're talking about audio accessories for a phone.

i know what you're saying but I'm not talking about a fax to phone, I'm talking about a phone to a headset/car-kit. A mobile phone is a mobile phone and the prime reason for owning a mobile phone is to talk to some one else. With that in mind, you would think that any mobile phone that has bluetooth would have the ability to be used for that very purpose - talking to someone.Well yeah, it can.
