Current Wait Time

Hey all,

Do any of you know what the present waiting time is at current if you order a 2.0CC. (i.e How long is Peugeot taking to knock out the cars as I heard it is getting less all the time?)

Mornin Marco, mine was 16 weeks last year but went to the dealers Saturday and they told me they would have to check but the waiting list has vastly reduced - I was quite surprised!

Sounds ominous to me, perhaps some are looking here and taking fright at the problems suffered - come on Peugeot sort it out before you end up paying customers to take them away. That would be sad because I know their great cars but for the build problems. Could even become a classic (Derek-no jokes about classic rubbish-lol) or am I getting carried away?!

I've been waiting for 12 weeks till now, still havn't heard anything from my orginal dealer yet. Surprisingly found some dealers have CCs in stock but no waiting list, thought those might be the first build with problems here and there????

The problems with the CC are widely know to the motoring sector. Thats why a lot of non peugeot dealers are reluctant to accept or are stuggling to sell their CC's.

And i suppose demand has fallen due to these negative but accurate views.

For me the less CC's on the road the better, i saw 5 yesterday. But still no firedance or red ones

rumour has it there are some unallocated ones inthe UK just looking for owners - Silver I think was what Julia said.

I ordered my new baby on Saturday and definately wanted silver with a red/black leather interior and was prepared to wait as long as necessary. Luckily for me Peugeot had eleven (now ten!) in a compound in Cannock, so I can (hopefully) pick him up on Good Friday. Didn't ask about any other colours but I guess they're stock piling then for the better weather when eveyone will rush out to buy one!

I'm also of the opinion that the less on the road the better!!!

I personally don't think there is no set time.. when I ordered my car back in Feb 2001 I was told I would have to wait the default time which was about 12 weeks or something as the demand for the 206cc was so great.

I got a call before the end of March 2001 telling me the car was on its way to the dealership! So I think I ended up waiting just under 8 weeks.

I have to admit that I got my car quick and was worried after hearing all the people with badly built cars!... I have to say that mine is one of the good ones! **touch wood**
