Our CC has fabric seats (not chosen by us - the car was a cancelled order) and the drivers seat fabric is wearing badly. The car is going for it's 20K service in a couple of weeks and I want to menion it to the dealer - has anyone else had any problems?? I did mention this to the dealer once before when the car was in but was told it was usual - I think NOT!! Before anyone mentions it, I'd like to point out that neither Kate or I are heavyweights so it's nothing to do with us being over weight - thank you!! :)

i have never had problems with seats wearing (i'm no heavy weight either  )

these have been the cars / times & mileages:

106 > 12 months > 13k miles
106 > 12 months > 19k miles
106 > 18 months > 31k miles
306 > 26 months > 44k miles
206 > 19 months > 31k miles
206CC > 79 days > 2.5k miles (only got to use it for 36 days :P )
206CC > 10 months > 13k miles

last two were leather but the rest were either fabric or velour.

hope this helps.

Hi Derek
Thanks for your reply, I figure the same as you, no other car I've ever had whatever age/mileage has had this problem. I will certainly have to discuss it with the dealership - oh what fun!!!

Cheers

Worn already?!?!
I'm on 22,000 and no wear at all (fabric). I had bad wear on my last car (saxo) but alround a much cheaper built car.
