Friday I put a house on the market with Connells.
I spent some 10K renovating, putting new laminate flooring downstairs, and new light beige carpets upstairs.
Last thing I did was to pay a firm £100 to clean the property which now looks like a show home.
Estate Agent who priced it said he'd provide overshoes for prospective buyers who view the property.
I checked property out yesterday after 1st viewing.
MUD just about everywhere on ALL my new carpets, on the laminate flooring, but worst of all its ingrained deeply on a new £40 rug I only put down yesterday which they must have used as a doormat
I am sooo angry that people could show so much disrespect for someones property.
Unfortunately the contract with the Estate Agents I signed allows them at least 8 weeks with which to sell my property and then 2 weeks notice of cancellation.
1). I have 2 doormats at the front of the property before people step in. Am I being unreasonable to be upset?
2). What do you think I should say to either the salesman who showed these "people" round or the branch manager?
Robbie.
