I take mine to the jet wash, they have soft briushes so i'm happy using them, i normally give them a spary first incase some muppet has left it with dirt on it.
The jet wash by me has demineralised water which doesn't leave water marks but i normally take it for a quick spin up and down the A13 (dual carrige way) to get rid of any excess water.
Always comes out like new!

I wont do the old joke about a kings telling his 3 sons to each sell a duck.
My baby gets jetwashed weekly (although i have been neglecting it lately) and hand washed once a month as a rule. In the summer it changes to one jet wash and one 'hand job' a week! Probably should calm down or i will wear the paint away.
After a hand wash i dry it, but after the jet wash i do as someone else wrote - quick spin down the dual carriageway - Three minutes at 110mph (gas mark 6) and we are good to go.
Last thing - NEVER dry your 'shammy' i keep mine in the boot incase i want to put the roof down after a jetwash (if the jolly down the a2 don't clear it) or for after a rain shower
