I get my car detailed every 6 months and just had it done last weekend. The products used are Eagle 1 from the US imported by Valvoline. They have a leather cleaner/conditioner that is lanoline based. You apply it by hand, no need for a cloth - just rub it into the leather. The finish is brilliant! You should be able to get it from Autobarn or KMart. There's plenty of others out there, but I'm happy with this one.

I use "meguiar's gold class leather cleaner & conditioner" its a white tooth paste kinda feel which you rub over the leather. Its in KMart , BigW etc. I saw Eagle1 frosty mention while looking arround, and pick this coz its smell better  Note: that its not leather protector, the leather protector are wax base and after treated fluid just glide off the seat, i dont use it much coz it tend to be expensive, you can get them in leather lounge store, got mine at harvey norman.

I use 'meguiar' as well ................. I've got white colour leather seats and the 'Meguiar' works very well on lifting the 'dirt' up.

Cheers

Hi Julia,

yeah, my leather wasn't factory items ........ I've got it done outside by the subcontractor used by the dealer. A lot cheaper than the factory price and I get to choose my own colour ...... which is a light blue/iceburg white combination. They did the whole car in one day including door panels and gloove box.

Dirt on white .......... is alright ..... as long as you give them a wipe every fornight or so using water (to get rip of the dust) and apply the leather conditioner every 1-2 months ........... mine still looks A1 condition

Cheers

Wil

Speaking of Meguiars .... I use the gold class wash .... also use autoglym bumber care, metal polish and fast glass .... but its time to give the car a wax .... any ideas? Meguiars Gold class liquid wax or Autoglym Resin Polish ... both have petroleum distilates so I assume care will need to be taken on roof near rubber seals.

I am a Meguire's fan myself. Have always trusted their products. Althought if your looking for a polish/wax, eagle one also make a fantastic looking polish. Meguire's gold class though, used with care, just makes the cc shine from miles away.

They'll see you coming!!! :D :D

Cheers,

James
