I have been told by my local Peugeot dealer that you cannot get a touchup pen for Aegean blue, I wonder if other owners would mind going to theeir dealers and asking them for a touchup pen in their specific colour and see if theirs is available if so let me know by PM ing me or below this information.

All I can say is surely they could get it from the factory otherwise whats the ponit in selling the cars without it

Although I'm sure that by law they have to continue to supply parts for a certain time after they are discontinued.

For example, when we discontinue (end-of-life) products we generally continue to supply components for several years before they are obsoleted. You can't buy the product any more but you can buy bits of it.

try another dealer - some can be very useless and i'm sure it will be available.

my CC is aluminium which relaced platinum silver colour in jan 2002. i tried my local dealer (not where i bought the CC) in march 2002 and they never had it listed so i thought it would be as it was a new colour.

i tried around september and got told the same. i told him it must be available as it had been out for 9 months.

i got the dum response that he would need to ask peugeot but also gave the impression that he wasn't going to bother. as you would expect he got told to get on the phone and find out.

for some reason peugeot were closed so he phoned another dealer. they gave him the code and it arrived the following day.

don't take no for an answer

if you still have problems, e-mail peugeot at custrel@mpsa.com and give them some abuse.

Went into my local dealer and ordered an Aegean blue touch up pen and got it the next day. What they're saying is wrong.

Morning fellow topless troops and troopettes-went to Wilsons Pug in Epsom last week to get an Agean Bleu touch up stick-They got me one,but its not sold as 'Agean Blue'......They asked me for all the numbers on the sticker just inside the drivers door shut,ie:the chassis numbers etc.....bizzare-the reason for this, they said,is to make sure they obtain the correct "shade" of the colour......when you are touching up a stonechip the size of a pin-head is this relevant? Oh well,I got one ;) ;) ;) ;) ;) :D :D :P

Of course it is. It's surprising how easily the eye is drawn to things like that...

The Basingstoke dealers deny they exist, too. It's on their list of accessories but without a part number which, they say, means it doesn't really exist. Is there a part number on the one you got?

The part number I've got is 9863.86 and it's called 'bleu recife met.KMF'. Hope that helps.
