If you have a CC and live in Norfolk for God sake get your roofs down and smile, wave or do something!!
Saw a black 02 in Long Stratton today roof up and no reaction to a flash and wave from me.
Yesterday in all the warm sunshine and high 29C + temps another black on a Y plate with it's roof up - AAAAAHHHHHHH!! Why do these people have a car like the CC - surely at the first sign of fine weather the roof should be down??? We have ours down as much as possible and even went out on boxing day with it down, -2C shown on the in car display but it was great.
So if you see a Cherry Red in Norfolk with the plate M20GCC - WAVE!!!!!
Thanks.....
Michael & Kate

Hi Mellie
Haven't seen you around, I'm on the border of Norfolk & Suffolk just outside Diss but I will keep an eye out for you if I'm your way. Just spent a week in the Algarve and saw 3 CC's, black, silver and aagean - didn't wave as we were in a Punto hire car - NOT GOOD!!!
Cheers and take care

You're dead right about Norfolk CC drivers being miserable buggers....I see quite a few about and don't get so much as a smile.
I'm in and around Norwich so if I see you about I'll give you a wave!
Look out for Aegan Blue Y*** DNG.
PS. I must admit I haven't had me roof down much lately but usually do once the sun comes out...

Hi Julia, still here!!!! Hope you had a good Christmas and New Year - did you get your roof down then?? we managed last weekend, my birthday was on Sunday and we had the roof down while driving around and visiting the coast - very pleasant. How old's your CC now and how many miles has it done?? Ours will have it's 20K service in the next few weeks, she'll be 2 in May!
Best go, take care

12000? thats what i thought too, but quote from yesterdays 'cheaper insurance quide' goes:
"The average UK driver travels 8,400 miles a year and limiting your mileage can reduce premiums. Some insurers will knock 2.5 percent off if you drive less than 8,000 miles and five percent if you stay under 6,000 miles)
8,400 a year? yeah right! Perhaps if they took all the coffin dodgers driving brown fiesta's out of the equation then their figure would double? Judging by the number of times i see them flying round the SAGA building i reckon the Folkestone boy racers must do that in not much over a month!
As for 'non wavers' i am just glad the woman in the silver cc that passed me in canterbury the day i picked the car up waved back, as no-one else locally has since! in fact the only others to wave were the people in the cc on the opposite side of the motorway whilst we were both stuck in traffic jams when i was driving back from the motor show!
Thinking about the motor show - mmmmmm, who got a free polaroid with the fast car girls?!?!?!?
