no try £200 with 5 games and 1 controller at Toyrs R 4 ADULTS ;)

I need to know if anyone has managed to get the 'back ups' of the games to work without modding the box itself. I am bad at knackering discs so want to take copies of all the new games I bought at Christmas :) but dont want to mod my box as its only 6 weeks old.

Rob,

As you're probably already aware, modding your XBox could prevent being compatible with XBox live (when it finally surfaces in the UK). You don't want to miss out on being fragged (with extreme prejudice of course) us XBox owning CCers now do you?

Rob,

Xbox backups/copies/imports will only work on a modded/chipped Xbox, no one as got them to work on an unmodded/unchipped one, I doubt they will, also you wont be able to copy the disks direct as they have too much protection on them, Lyndon as already explained all this to you on Yahoo :P

paul_y3k,

you are correct that the new chips do support a switch to turn the chip off but the new version of xbox doesnt work with any of the chips that are out so far, they keep changing the design to stop them working

The techie guys are usually VERY helpful

Rob,

I cant see the techie people at MS HQ telling you how to run copied games on a unmodded Xbox when the worlds best hackers cant crack that part, even the boss of linux as run a $100,000 competition for the first person to get linux to work on an unmodded one.
