Poorly tyre on my CC!

I drove into work this morning to be told I had what looked like 2 flat tyres!
After calling in my local tyre man (if you are in my area I recommend him!) he found the front tyre to be fine apart from needing a little air but the back one had two identical nails in it. :eek:(
Having had a rather large nail in the same tyre 4 days after I had picked it up, I have opted for getting a brand new tyre as I don't trust 3 repairs in the same tyre!

All in all he has quoted me Â£60 for the tyre, fitting and the repair he did on it today to tie me over till I get the tyre tomorrow. Plus he checked all the others.
I remember getting quotes from people early on when I picked my car up as I knew the tyres would be expensive.
I don't think that price is bad at all considering what he has done.
Let me know your thoughts

I think that price is very reasonable. I remember paying Â£270 for 4 tyres on my last car so it sounds like they will be a bit cheaper on my CC.

Are you sure no-one has been practising nailing things and using your tyres as target. Sounds very suspicious to me...

I was suspicious at first as I thought they had been slashed.
After he pulled out 2 identical nails I was a bit sceptical!
Maybe someone has a grudge against me driving such a nice car as it is now 3 nails I have had in the same tyre!!!

Exactly the same as what is on there. I think they are Goodyear F1's. They said they could get a Dunlop tyre for Â£50 ish but your supposed to have all matching!

I bet if I had taken it to Humphries or Kwik fit they would have charged twice as that!
