According to the manual .. holding the roof switch up after the roof has gone down should cause the windows to go back up. No matter how many times I have tried this does not happen ...
I was wondering if anyone else has this problem or is it a difference in the Aus specs.

No i am not aware of that specs, i dont think they have it. You think thats confusing now try deadlock ;)
Another popular myths - when outside the car , engine off but you forgot to wind the windows up just stick the key in the door turn to lock and hold for 5 sec and windows will wind up... doesnt happen, but i know some european car can do this.

May be that function is only available to the 2.0l model :?: :?: .................. same as those rain-sensor viper and automatic headlights.

On the very first cc catelogue that I've got, they mentioned that the above functions were all standard ..................... but later I found out that they are only standard /available for the 2.0l only.

Cheers

I had an Astra which does all this but unfortunately the cc doesn't, even the 2.0L model. I wonder if Peugeot can program the car to provide deadlocking because when the top is down, it's imposible to lock the doors!!! :?

Seeing the car is multiplexed and has a control unit for just about anything perhaps the service guys can set these features up. I will try to ask next time i'm at the dealership, unless anyone else knows. ;)

When i test drove one (pre mulitplexed, 2.0L) around june 2002 the windows up /roof worked that way.

Mine doesnt though (multiplexed, dec 2001) peugeot must have changed their mind, like the roof operating upto 20mph...

I read about this in the manual but my 2.0L cc does not do it, I have tried it many times without the windows doing anything at all after the roof is up.

Mick.
