Just wondering what import agents you would
a: recomend
b: not recomend
c: if you would recomend importing or buying from the uk.

The reason is iv been offered

I imported my SLK, saved a couple of K and the wait so I'd recommend importing as long as you only pay a small deposit until the cars ready for exchange. Either that or you ensure that the full money has been lodged with the delaership and not the importer, incase they go belly up.

Incidently I saw a dealer advert in Exchange & Mart today:

Got my SLK within 10 days from Kevin Griffin Cars Ltd, Hurst Court Garage, Hurst Road, Horsham, W Sussex RH12 2EN Tel: 01403750500 Fax: 01403 210644.

I paid them 1K upfront, the rest by debit once the car crossed the channel and I had inspected it.

I know they import mostly expensive Mercs an Volkswagons but I don't see why they can't import CC's on request.
