ESSEX MEET!!!

Dunno if u've been following our little discussion in the spotted section but to summarize.......

we got a venue, a pub just off the A12 cause a member of the forum owns it

We just need a date......

So bit of feedback on dates is needed. The dates that are out are the 12th and 18th. Apart from that we open to suggestions.....

saturday 25th january 2003 was suggested by essexcc, hows that for the rest of ya?

I got a load of the website cards through the post today from pauline, if we fix the date, when I see a parked cc Im gonna slap a card on the screen with the meet date on the back!!!!!

Only a month 2 go then!

I can't believe I didn't see this meet happening on the "spotted" section!

If you need any help let me know (big star person offering help here!)

Once you have definately set the date, make it clear in a post.
We could all go bowling again or something else like ice skating or go karting. (Yes Erm, before you post I know you wanna go go karting!

)

The offer of the pub and food is fab!!!

Woohoo how exciting! Looks like I can now get my convoy crew member badge in the new year!!! (Must get my mum to sew the mini meet reccy crew one on my jumper!)

portable tv??? no chance........ i'm going if we are drawn at home

we'll know by the 5th of jan for definate.

The game maybe on a sunday if sky want to show it so afraid its a wait and see :rolleyes:

somebody suggested go-karting at this meet.

Well in the next town along from the pub(braintree,5miles)they are about to open europes longest indoor gokart track.

not sure when,its late jan/early feb me thinks,as soon as find out will post.

mite be worth just putting on hold for a few weeks.

I think a remote controlled mexican roof wave with those remote controlled convertibles should be attempted at a meet in the near future.
