sounds silly but have you tried pulling the fuse out and leaving it a few minutes and the replacing it. These new multiplex are a bit like computer networks and get confused.

It the signals are out of synch for it then it may be trying to wind up and down at the same time
if this fails then hold the switch and pull the window up.

I and a few others have used that method succesfully before

i had that problem once, but both windows only went up half way although there were no strange noises that i remember of.

putting the roof back down and up again solved the problem.

Took car into dealer on Saturday morning and they had it 'til 3 o clock and then told me that they could not find the problem and it will have to go in on Monady to be stripped!!!

Can you believe it - I had the car for 2 hours and then this!!!! I am also now having first hand experience of the Peugoet monkeys that everyone speaks of!!!!

The car should have been ready to pick up at 9.40 am on Friday morning but then they kept calling to say there were problems - I didnt pick it up until 5 pm!!!! So much for a day off work to cruise about. You'd think everything would have been checked prior to my pick up - wouldnt you?!!!

So I have to say it was a bad day and not what I had spent 6 months waiting for. The car does look amazing and is a great drive but the experience was some what tainted.

Heres to things getting better and having some fun in my new car.

Will keep you posted

Stephen

PS When the engine is ticking over and standing it seems to judder very slightly about every 10 -15 seconds - is this normal?!!

Sounds like a peugeot factory monkey has left a spanner in the works, quite literally!

You're right they should have checked that before delivery and you've got every right to be p***ed.

I would seriously go for a free windstop or at the very least get one at cost price.

My old car had the tick over / lumpy engine. A new software download (10 min job) cured it.

Stephen, I'd be pretty p****d off. I had my door stripped with a new lock straight off.

As freedive says, go for a windstop and if you can, a boot rack at cost, or free of charge for your inconvenience.
